    Just watch (or don't, it'll spoil the memories) them again, you'll find that things don't look the same anymore .

    I recently *got* all of the pokemon episodes of all the seasons and was surprised by the amount of repetitive stuff and plot holes
    (which I never noticed earlier because of watching a single new episode per day and the anticipation involved) .

    @Matticus, I do not know the gadget you are talking about

    @manasij7479 same here. I am now at the episode that Ash wins his first batch in Orange league and I saw all the things that you saw (repetitive stuff etc), but it's ok since it is targeting children. So, I still love them and Lapras remains my favorite pokemon :P

    @manasig By the way in which holes in the plot where you referring too? Remember I the Pokemon end for me at the generation of Lugia (included)

    It was a number of things - Pop music, TV shows, fads, fashion, ...

    I was a bit too old for Pokemon, it seemed ridiculous to me -> A good way to sell stuff to kids though.
