    Looping the avatar?

Hey, I've seen a few guys on here with animated avatars. I got mine to work. But as you can see, it doesn't loop like many others do. Mine is kind of designed to loop. So is there some special trick to doing it, or is there a super secret file that can animate besides a .gif?

GIF has a loop setting. You'd have to learn how to use it in digital imaging software; for example, Photoshop.

Grab any graphic editor that makes Animated Gif files... Looping is a standard feature in the image format.

By the way, IIRC, since a few months ago, animated gifs can't be set as avatars on this forum any more. People who have it right now have had them since before then.

Animated gifs are fine, anyone can have them. The OP should be proof enough.

Ah looks like they were re-enabled.

Why can I not upload an animated profile picture?
