    Sorry...

I'm pretty sure that was me.

I was having a bit of fun with colors, and I think I ran the cboard out of memory. (At least that's what the fatal error told me.) Shortly afterward it ground to a crawl and we got a DB error after that.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) in /home/cprogram/public_html/cboard/includes/class_bbcode.php on line 1071

Edit - Yep. That's what did it, I can repeat it. Webmaster, PM me if you want to know what does it if your logs don't tell you.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

In atonement for your sin, you shall buy us a new server that has more memory.

I get maybe two dozen requests for help with some sort of programming or design problem every day. Most have more sense than to send me hundreds of lines of code. If they do, I ask them to find the smallest example that exhibits the problem and send me that. Mostly, they then find the error themselves. "Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

LOL...well if anyone was going to do it,

EDIT:Since the thread was over with the OP, how about we keep it going? We have to break the record anyway. So, let's see....long debate without purpose; I am thinking MK27 or a discussion about MODS........
