Kid, I've been here on this forum for something like 12 years. I think I know what a mod means more than you do. When a mod shows up and hints that a thread is over, they usually mean exactly what they are saying. Come back in a few thousand posts and try again.
Uh huh post mean nothing any troll can get to 1000 post if he is smart enough (not calling you a troll just saying trolls can get up there)
You say you know and yet there are others who have been on longer who disagree with you, what makes them anyless right then you?
    your pride?
Come back when your been around as long as them and try again...
As to going off topic, this is about people complaining about cross posting, and mod behavior.
No it is not, it was about cross posting, you made it about mod behavior, read the tittle and the OP, its about cross posting not about mods other behaviors.
    You are off topic.

No there isn't. The cross posting in that "rule" isn't about posting on other web sites. It's about posting one topic on multiple forums here. This forum cannot tell you not to post on another website. Furthermore, even if they did, they have no proof it's me on both sites.
If its writing word for word they can, more so if you have the same user name and what not
Also yes they can, you sign agreement with these guys when you sign up to follow their rules,

they can't stop you form posting in the other forum true, but they can stop you form posting the same thing here, its their right you agreed to when you signed up. so they have evrey right to close the threads
if you don't like it then leave.

I know you want to be a contributing member of society here, but you just look like a suck up.

I'm not affected by you calling me a "suck up", its called being nice and respecting that the mods make the rules not me.
So take your name calling else where and before you say it, even if someone is something you are calling them, it is still name calling.
the is no definition of name calling that says it has to be untrue to be name calling which is you guessed it, against the rules .

    8. Do not flame/troll. Messages whose intent is to "Flame," "Troll," or purposely insult or incite another person, or any portion of a post that "flames" will be deleted
Calling someone is a insult, regardless of what you used to justify it
English is my first language, I'm just not any good at typing\writing it, I can read and speak it just fine.

There is only one person on this forum, that I know of, with the exception of the webmaster, that has been here longer than I have. I was here before this version of the software. The date by my name is when I made this account. Like I said, there is ONE person who has been here longer than I have.

No I didn't. The first post mentions mod behavior. Post #5 also mentions it. My first post, #10 does not mention it. Neither does my next post, #15.

I know you desperately want to win this argument, but let me assure you that you will not.

Which would be completely stupid. You are in effect saying:

"Don't answer any posts on our forums, because you answered posts on other places!"

That would be the stupidest thing they could possibly do here. They would be slitting their own throats. You don't want to keep your users from getting help or providing it. You want them to post on your forums. What would be the point of having a forum if you didn't want people posting on it? That's the dumbest thing I've read all day, and this is the internet, so that's quite a feat.

Even if this is true it means nothing, post count and how long you been here dose not make you right
The first post mentions mod behavior. Post #5 also mentions it. My first post, #10 does not mention it. Neither does my next post, #15
So what? if my first post in a thread about main function uses the world monkey it dose not mean its about monkeys.
and the only post that decides what the topic is, is the first one.
    5 dose not matter
and your proving my point, for a bit you where on topic then you got off with a crusade against the mods

I know you desperately want to win this argument, but let me assure you that you will not
Says the guy auguring with the mods, and if you look at his post gets in an augment way to many times. what do you hope to accomplish?

anyway you put it you agree to this rule when you signed up end of discussion you lost

The owners of C Board reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any content item for any reason
And before you say it the mods are giving the ability to do this when they become mods
and if thats not enough here is the same rule again

    10. Moderators have been granted the right to use their best judgement in the pursuit of community prosperity and peaceful operation. They are permitted to police posts that do not directly infringe the technicalities of a Rule, yet fall outside the intended spirit of them. Also note; The administration reserves the right to modify these guidelines and rules, along with the terms and conditions of use for these forums, at any time, without notification.
They DO have a rule that lets them do all you say they can't

Which would be completely stupid. You are in effect saying:

"Don't answer any posts on our forums, because you answered posts on other places!"
Bull man, its about starting thread's with the same question on multiple forums not answers

you know this as well as me, stop trying to use straw man, and top putting words in others mouth regardless of what you think you have no clue what the guy meant.

That would be the stupidest thing they could possibly do here. They would be slitting their own throats. You don't want to keep your users from getting help or providing it. Says the guy who turned me saying that you cant post the same question on multiple forums to not being able to post at all when I said nothing about that

It doesn't have to make me right. It does however give me more credibility and insight to how a particular poster behaves than you have.

There's no rule against arguing with mods. And if there is, it's a stupid rule. You should be able to back up your argument with clear arguments, not just because you are a mod. Being a mod does not make you right.

I signed up for what? Nothing you have said has proven me wrong, and nothing you have said I have agreed to makes me wrong. Nothing I have agreed to goes against anything I have said in this thread. Furthermore, the TOS has changed since I started posting here.

Just like Prelude, you saying it's over doesn't make it so.

I didn't say they don't have rules. Trying to put words into my mouth doesn't make you or them right.

You don't even know what you are talking about now. The cross-posting forum rule is not to dictate what you can post on other websites. Try actually reading this thread:

You apparently have a reading comprehension problem, let me show you what you wrote:

Which is a reply to the hundred posts about posting on other websites. So either you are agreeing with me when I said that there is no rule about posting on other websites, or you are disagreeing with me. Pick one.

    Oh, wait, you did:

So here you argue about them closing your threads that you post on this forum, for what you post on another website.

Which makes you a liar when you post this:

I didn't put words into your mouth. I called you a liar.

You called me a troll, I called you a liar, that makes us about even.

    *sigh*

Now we are in flamewar mode. Those who are really interested in discussing the topic of the pros and cons of cross posting and the appropriate reactions thereof, please start a new thread.
