Playing many browser-based multiplayer games ( like Ikariam and Europe1400 )
Surfing ( the Internet of course )
    Playing some video games
    Going out with my friends
    Studying for my college...

Anyhow, i spend twice as much time programming as all of the above together!
    Devoted my life to programming...

The day job is too cool to mention.
That's funny, I used to work with a really smart electrical engineer who raises chickens too. Just funny to see really smart people raising farm animals I guess, seems contradictory.

I read that as "I get bored and quit on what I've been trying to do every few months."
If only... I just have to budget my time and move around a lot. It may have been over three months since I've actually built a puzzle box, but I've been working on the design for a new one for weeks.

I'm curious to know what hobbies you've actually stuck with.
    *shrug*

Okay; I'll list a few large categories.

    Soma

Study. (I'm not in school; I'm just curious. I've been working on chemistry lately.)
Music. (I listen mostly to Baroque, Romantic, and video game stuff.)
Reading. (I own thousands, but I've read about 80 books this year that aren't educational.)
Gaming. ("Table Top" and crazy numbers of video games.)
    Movies. (I've seen thousands.)
Violin. (I'm still just early learning level.)
Drawing. (I'm mostly working with charcoal, but I do some bad pastel stuff.)
    Spriting. (That's spelled correctly.)
Design. (I've even won a couple of awards of my clock models.)
Crafts. (I make the occasional puzzle box, and I make quilts.)

No programming language is perfect. There is not even a single best language; there are only languages well suited or perhaps poorly suited for particular purposes.

Lift weights, hike, mountain bike, read, watch netflix with my girl friend, downloading tons of music from my zune pass, cooking, watching sports..... It's really amazing that I can have free time sometimes.

You don't include leisure activities like watching netflix or reading as free time?
If you understand what you're doing, you're not learning anything.

Eman, I think that some of what you do is unreachable...

If they do, I ask them to find the smallest example that exhibits the problem and send me that. Mostly, they then find the error themselves. "Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

Well, that would depend on his reaction to being interrupted...
