    Well, if you handle each error message separately, and err... ignore those that have to do with templates, it might work.

    Ah, that might be a workable solution then. Not sure I would subscribe to such a twitter feed though.

    Lighten up people. joke, funny, haha, weeee. I tried it for good fun yesterday but couldnt find how to script tweets.


    Oh and there is a tool that reduces template errors to something readable, cant remember the name. So this thread became useful after all!

    It's probably STL Error Decryptor for C++.

    For this you would probably not want to use the cl.cpp wrapper included. But provide your own that compiles, calls the STLFilt.pl script and tweets.

    No worries.. but you stated it in a somewhat serious tone (or at least it could be taken for that) and there's always the risk some fool out there would think it was a good idea.

    It has long been my experience that when given the choice between brilliance and tom-foolery most people automatically gravitate to the latter.
