Posted for those of you who understand the harm of software patents and haven't seen this bit of sanity from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
They want guidance from the common folk about what should and should not be patentable in the realms of software and business methods. (At least, that is what they claim.)
If you care for your work, please let them know how backwards it is for purely mathematics constructs to be patentable by disguising the application with weasel words.
