    Question Adding password to a pdf file

    Hi all,

    I'm using Adobe reader version 9.I saw some of the pdf s being password protected.Whenever we try to open it asks for password.I'm wondering how to add password to pdf files.I'm using Windows XP professional with service pack 3.If anyone knows explain me with simple steps.Ur replies will really help me.

    If you can't even be bothered to do even the minimal amount of research for yourself, or to show us what you've done, then expect people to tell you to STFW.

    Simple for who?
    - Experienced programmers who know how to STFW
    - Wannabe noobs too lazy to do their own research
    - non-programmers who can't cope with anything more than right-click "Add Password..."


    Oh and don't get me started on the sms kiddie speak you're dribbling on the board.

    Well, he obviously can't (or doesn't bother to, which is even worse) even write coherent English, so don't expect him to listen to you and start behaving like someone who requests information and wants to get an answer should, which is courteously.
