    java forum?

    hi all,

is there a forum similar to cboards but for java?

i don't want to learn java but i'm being forced to...and java and the business world are close and when i did a simple search for java forums, the results were mostly IT-related.

    thanks,

"Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

Just don't carry that attitude of being 'forced' to learn Java.

I worked in an IT shop back in Virginia some years ago and our whole team was forced to learn Smalltalk because some knot-head manager read somewhere that Smalltalk was the future of all programming...grrr..

Been there, done that. I worked for a small consulting company and only one of the VPs had actual real world respectable experience. Whereas the other VP just spouted out buzzwords and the spineless President hid in his office.
