I don't know any way to disable that prompt. But I bet the frustration caused by accidentally quitting without saving something important is 10000 times higher than the frustration of having to type "yes" to quit with an unsaver buffer.

I gotta agree with Brewbuck on this one; I cannot think of a situation where this is the right answer. However Alt-F4 would probably work pretty darned well on Linux (universal close window command)..

You could try setting the variable "confirm-kill-emacs" to something non nil in your .emacs file. That's what get's checked by the exit command.
