Suprisingly reading some of the comments many people thought it was serious.
OS are no small thing. People complain about windows, complain about linux. I also complain about windows everytime the do something weird. But that is another story. Both are really brilliant softare, no matter how much ppl complain.
At first I thought it was also a rip-off of an earlier parody, and not even half as funny as the original. Then after looking around a bit I am pretty sure it is the same person, just she has updated her article for the Obama era, and is maybe trying to sound more serious. The word Ubuntu and Mark Shuttleworth are both South African, however Canonical Ltd. is primarily based in the UK / Isle of Man. It's pretty well distributed around the world however.I think ubuntu is from Micronesia somewhere.

Was South Africa ever in Micronesia? I admit that my geography is really bad, but I hope my Web searching skills are a little better, and they tell me that South Africa was never in Micronesia, whether the state or the region.

I decided to ditch online sources for my World Book encyclopedia, whose Micronesia article refers to the Pacific Islands article, which claims that:
