Years ago we used to get the occasional post from a supposedly female new member, usually named something like "comp-chic" or "code-girl" or some other name like that. This new member would always seem to have the same personality - slightly dippy but fun loving young girl that needs a "white-knight" to help her along her way.

My theory was that 99% of these posts were made by fat guys sat in a computer lab boasting to his meat-headed friends how he was about to get the "nerds" to do something (homework, job application) for free.

I might be wrong, but....nah.
