As long as i dont have to watch the needle go into me im quite ok with it.

Now needles and eyes....that is a whole different thing. I shiver of the mere thought.

You couldn't pay me enough to have my blood drawn. I HATE NEEDLES. I have an extreme phobia of needles, and I mean serious phobia, where I'll jump and go to the opposite end of the room if somebody walks in with a syringe, especially if I know it's going to go in me. I hate needles in my veins even more so. They had to draw my blood for something a year ago at the hospital and it took five doctors to hold me down just for the 30 seconds of blood drawing as I was screaming profanity. I can't handle them a single bit, and I'm a heroin addict. I've been taking heroin and alphamethylfentanyl for a couple years now and I've never made the leap from snorting/smoking to injecting, which is apparently much nicer due to 100% drug bioavailability, because of how scared I am to have a needle in my vein. I guess it's a blessing for me in my case, since, well if I didn't have this extreme phobia I'd be sticking myself in the arm trying to find a vein three times a day with infections in my arms and collapsed veins, higher probability of HIV/Hep-C, god, I don't even want to think about it. I'm very grateful for my specific phobia of intravenous needle use...I was born with it and perhaps for a reason.

I hate needles! Being at the dentist is a true hell, I swear I make grabbing marks into the chair D:
Probably soon have to be tested for CTD or some ........, you don't only have to get stabbed by a needle, you also have to not eat meat for ages past ages, and not eat anything for ages >.<

Not bothered. Wouldn't like it in or around the eye though. Couldn't deal with that. Or in the nuts.

I am quite the opposite.. I love to watch the needle go in. I even offer advice on how to pierce my veins.

(no, I'm not a drug addict, just someone who faced their fear.)

But the Hydrochloric Acid ruins the rush heroin is intended to give, and deacteylates the heroin molecule on both sides, and reduces 100% of the heroin into morphine. But when you snort/inject it, it only deacteylates half of the molecule, leaving 6-monoacetylmorphine(6-MAM), which is a VERY potent drug. Heroin itself is extremely weak, it's the the first pass metabolism that makes it potent. Taking it orally/anally defeats the purpose and is the same as taking oral morphine.

Just make sure you don't wake up dead one morning, leaving your roommate to find you, call the police, and haul your 350 pound corpse down two flights of stairs. We were also against the clock to sweep the apartment clean of any porn or other undesirable artifacts before his mom arrived. Then we got to explain to his mom how none of us were able to stop it from happening. Yeah, that month was a barrel of laughs.

To be perfectly honest, most overdoses occur when a user with a lower tolerance injects the drug and the user's kidney's are unable to keep up with the amount of drug that the brain is getting via the blood brain barrier. When you snort it, your body has more than three minutes to figure out what the hell you just put in it before you OD and thus lessens your chances of pulling a Pulp Fiction. But condolences for what you had to go through.
