    Typo, imo.

Let me google that for you - A+ Certification - Wikibooks, collection of open-content textbooks (it's for comp techs by CompTIA, not for A+ programming language)

Every "a++ certification" page is a typo, auto post, or a newbie. Google it.

thought all books had to have a ISBN number ? For sale anyway. So a “certification manual” is not really for getting you certified in a language ? Then what is the book certifying you for ? So a+ certification is not certifying you in the a+ programming lang ? Now I confused.

Anyway thank you all for the help and info.

The book is a guide to help you gain certification; it is not a certificate. Anyway, your questions are easily answered on the CompTIA's webpage on A+ certification.

I get maybe two dozen requests for help with some sort of programming or design problem every day. Most have more sense than to send me hundreds of lines of code. If they do, I ask them to find the smallest example that exhibits the problem and send me that. Mostly, they then find the error themselves. "Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

Yes and nb -- this has NOTHING to do with the two programming languages you mention. They just call their IT certificate that. These things are not related. So you will have to wait for your $5000000000000. Also I think that book was actually to do with auto insurance.

Some qute things about A+ ("a programming language for actual programmers") I picked up from their web page: it requires it's own font because it has special symbols! Oh are you going to have fun!

Also, under "Programs written in A+" there is one program:

99 Bottles of Beer | Start

which has apparently been written in 1301 different programming languages! I had no idea there was even 10% this number. Dunno if A++ was another one of the 1301.

    C programming resources:
GNU C Function and Macro Index -- glibc reference manual
The C Book -- nice online learner guide
    Current ISO draft standard
CCAN -- new CPAN like open source library repository
    3 (different) GNU debugger tutorials: #1 -- #2 -- #3
cpwiki -- our wiki on sourceforge

It seems to include everything from scripting languages, interpreted languages, game script languages, even configuration files (jamfile), and libraries (jQuery isn't a language, it's a JavaScript library). It also includes different versions (AS/AS3), and branches. I'm surprised they don't have JASS (WarCraft 3 map scripting language). Make that 1302...

Edit: Nevermind, JASS is under 'W' as "Warcraft 3 Jass", lol. There's even a WinAmp submission. Useful.
