3D games re difficult to play? I just do not get along with it. I tried a 3D pong and it was so hard for me. 3D games are hard to play with normal input methods, like keyboard, mouse, joystick.

It shouldent it be any harder to control than a 2d game unless its very badly designed. For a pong game you can just use a fixed camera and move the object along 2 axes, which would basically be like a 2d game using 3d objects.

No, actually the pong would go deeper in screen and would come back. Along with keeping my bat to the pong, I also had to assume the near/far out of reach of the pong.

That would still only need to move across 2 axes, you just tilt the camera angle.

Since this is not really a game 'programming' question I'm moving it to the GD board.
