Haskell startup?

Hi, can anyone help me? I must download haskell so as to write code in my pc (Ubuntu 9.10)...

i just only know this:

Try first finding it from the software download section of ubuntu, maybe it can be done automatically from there.

Try typing this in a terminal:

sudo apt-get install -y haskell-platform

It'll prompt you for your password, type it in and hit enter.
