| a.i. program "hacker" "Hacker: Hacker, developed in the MIT lab, lays to rest the common myth that a computer will never be able to program itself. Hacker is able to write programs for the computer that it is running on. The logic necessary for Hackers skill is stored in packets of information which are referred to. Also Hacker uses a programming library of common trouble-shooting, and is able to add tricks to its library. " I was hoping to get a little more info on this program. I think it is an interesting idea to implement within a more complex a.i. program. |

| self modifying code isn't anything new, nor is software that writes other software.

| wud need a hell lot of architecture details for the comp it is running on.......then it would need to match it against fingerprint DB.......jus like nmap and other network scanners do for OS detection.....then it wud need coding libraries..........and at last....the parameters of the application to be developed(computer understandable SRS anyone????)...... |
