    Simple AI tutorial

    Hi,

I am trying to penetrate a little bit deeper into AI programming which I am now at point 0 :-)

Can you please recommend me some good tutorials which you might have used and worked well for you.
Unfortunately google has not helped me here much yet.

    Thank you

If they do, I ask them to find the smallest example that exhibits the problem and send me that. Mostly, they then find the error themselves. "Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

This site has a sister site, aihorizon.com that has some basic tutorials. It doesn't delve a whole lot into implementing AI, but it will definitely make sure you have a good enough understanding of the basic concepts to move on.

Russell and Norvig is the generally accepted primer on the subject. ISBN 0-13-790395-2
Until you can build a working general purpose reprogrammable computer out of basic components from radio shack, you are not fit to call yourself a programmer in my presence. This is cwhizard, signing off.
