Does anyone have a link that can help me write something to read/write avi files?
Check out www.wotsit.org for the format on AVI files or any other format you may need. Check out www.programmersheaven.com for actual source on how to use the data in the AVI.
My problem is a little more specific than either of those links delve into. I have yet to correctly parse the headers. I have found no documentation on how big each element of each data chunk is. My first assumption was that they were 4bytes however the data I derived from using 4bytes all the time seemed erroneous. Wotsit.com does give me some excellent compression techniques but doen't help with my parsing problem.
Hmmm. Would have thought they have the AVI specs - headers and all. Will look into it.
