    minigun prototype

I've got enough added to my engine so I'm finally starting to create game specified assets/code.

I was dorking around in AutoCAD, and one of the assignments was to make a car. So, I made a beetle with a big-ass cannon. I think I'll end up using this as one of the weapons on the hovertanks in my game.

Beetle's suck without my godlike intervention anyway.

Sweet. I've got to get me one of those
How far along is your project now anyways? Going well? Any major hiccups?
Good class architecture is not like a Swiss Army Knife; it should be more like a well balanced throwing knife.

It's going fine actually. The only problem I have is time and motivation. I know how to do most everything I need to do, I'm not doing anything *too* complicated in terms of graphics and physics.

The only 'hiccups' occur when I make mistakes and have to find bugs in my code. You can read more in my journal (linked in my signature).

looks nice, but I'd ditch that big bolt you used. It serves no purpose and looks too clearly like a bolt to be decorative.

In fact, were this a real gun it would seriously hamper visibility and thus aiming for the gunner.

Yeah, when I turn that into a 3d model I planned on changing that.

If you need any help with 3D modelling or 2D stuff, I would be glad to help out. Unless, this is a "personal" project, then forget my offer!
