    Unhappy #include <gl\glaux.h> not working!!!

    Hi i am trying to learn opengl and i have downloaded lesson 1 off of this website<<http://nehe.gamedev.net/data/lessons/lesson.asp?lesson=01<<but my code that was in the lesson dosent work it only has 1 error and that is<<

    You can safely remove that include from that source code as it doesn't appear to use an glaux stuff. I don't think that glaux should be used anymore anyway; AFAIK it's an ancient lib that leaks memory and, in any event, there don't seem to be any glaux libs and headers with dev-cpp these days, which is probably just as well.

    BTW, could you please format the code you post so that it doesn't have such a huge horizontal extent? Use the 'preview' facility of the board to check your code formatting prior to 'submitting' your post. Thanks.

    go to nehe's site and download the glaux replacement code.

    He doesn't need glaux for that example, Perspective - simply commenting out/removing the line

    will suffice to build that code with dev-cpp.

    The problem is NULL statements like:
    it didnt work
    which gives us absolutely no information whatsoever about what problem(s) the OP has since encountered - my guess is not linking with opengl32, glu32 libs but, without clarification, it remains just that: a guess.
