    direct x ---- opengl

I was wondering if anyone could recomend any directx books or opengl books that would be helpful.

Definitely - that book is superb. i bought it a couple of weeks ago (don't ask me why - just like having something solid in front of me) and it's really easy to follow.

A very pretty (and good) tutorial I found on-line was this one

I think someone did it for a project or something but I've found it very useful as a more visual way of learning some of OpenGL. Nehe's tutorials are brilliant too... if a little mind-foggying

    Ah.
