hey is it allowed to attach , and does anyone wanna hear some music i made for MystWind so far ?
Instead of doing a MMORPG or a MUD why not do both AND.
Write the MUD with the realization beforehand that you will eventually port it to a graphical MMORPG. Include all the elements in the MUD as you would in the final game. The graphics really are easy to add and if you do program the MUD successfully then you will already have all of the scripting elements, AI, etc, needed for an MMORPG.
Do both, just start with the MUD as the core engine.
