geometry won't display!?

I believe 1 and 2 are out though, as i don't have lighting enabled at the moment

You must have some type of lighting in your world or you won't see anything.

i think it's not displaying beause it has to be in my RenderScene() function....as i tried to draw somthing outside of the RenderScene() function a little while ago, and it appeared for a sec then dissapeared

make sure your swapping your buffers at the end of your render routine.
