    Model Conversion

Is there a tool that can convert .gmax (Discreet's GMax) model files into common formats such as MD2 or MD3? Thanks!

I've decided more specifically MD2 files. Thanks again!

I could've sworn that it did that already.

If it doesn't, download milkshape3d's trial version.

Export from gmax to one of the versions that milkshape3d can import. doesn't matter what it is. then, export from milkshape3d to md2. should be pretty easy to do, think I've done it before a while ago.

there is a program called Deep Exploration that converts pretty much any type of 3d model to another type.

I am not sure if it supports MD2/MD3, but I assume it does because there is a HUGE list of file types it supports.

    Try it out.
