By pressing keys in the asdf region of the keyboard I got all the images to disappear on the window so the window was just light blue. Then the word "deactivated" came up on the screen. Then all of the fonts on my desktop disappeared. Then the images in the AIM window became garbled. Then programs started doing illegal operations all over the place. So I took your program's advice and deactivated my computer with a reboot and everything is fine now.

Sorry I'm not exactly sure how to reproduce the error. The OS is windows 98, nvidia geforce 2 MX, detonator driver 4.13.01.2720. I had AIM running at the time and an instance of notepad.

Otherwise it looks real neat, good job.

    lol...

I pressed some letter keys on the keyboard and the graphics started vanishing until only the background was left; then the icons on my desktop started disappearing, and programs started exploding as if stricken by an invisible force of alien invaders, until the horrible resource leak caused my computer to die horribly and never rise again. Other than that, it's a great game!
Must be Microsoft's influence on the market.

P.S. Actually, I have nothing(?) against Microsoft, but I couldn't think of any other widely-hated software company to shoot down.

I couldn't shoot, but I could move, and the graphics were very choppy the sprites kept flashing (but it was fast enough I knew where everything was).

it ran great on my computer.

    good job!

there was a small amount of flickering, but very little. over all it was quite good for a first game!

    My computer:

    1.1 Ghz AMD Athlon XP
    GeForce 2 64 MB
    40 GB hd
    384 MB ram
    WinXP Pro

It ran TOO fast. You need some kind of frame rate limiter, or maybe time-based movement.

    Athlon XP 2000+
    512MB DDR PC2100
    GeForce FX 5200
