For those of you who don't know, or haven't heard of us, we are The Developer's Alliance, a group of 38 (and growing) teenagers. We all come from different places, but we all share one interest, and that is in the development of computer programs/games.
Our first production, Escape From the Funky Factory started production May 2, 2003, and today, June 4, 2003, we have finished a working prototype that is, in essence, finished. The only thing the game is missing is some level transition pictures, and logos. However, the engine for the game, which was made completely from scratch, line by line, (all 6330 of 'em), is completely finished, and the only updates it now requires are bug fixes.
V0.4 of the engine is not out for public release, however, because we are thinking of marketing the game and selling it. This may or may not be the case, so we still need to discuss the matter at TDA.
While you all are waiting, you can check out some screen shots from the game in its current version, and who knows? Maybe you'll want to buy a copy!
