When do people finally start using getch()? It sucks to constantly
having to press up and enter, up and enter, up and enter...
i do use getch. Look at the source code!

So cut me some slack. This also allows people to BACKSPACE the wrong input. Or enter 888 to go north 3 times! Sheesh.

Yes, it does work to rename cpp file to exe files. Successfully executing them is another thing :rolleyes:.
er. i meant, compile them, dont rename them, because the program won't run. It was a lame attempt at joke.

I played your light game. I didn't find it to entertaining. But that becuase i prefer battle games.
I found Tech's light game most enjoying, Simple yet addictive.
Ah, hey, thanks, travis. Right now I'm making a new update to the game, since I don't have much time to work on anything more complex/new. As you might have noticed the game isn't very new considering the last update to the game was in August lol.
Really travis? I found it kind of annoying. The fact that i couldn't get past level 3 because of the dang shroud and short time limit.
Nothing personal, Tech, i just don't like those type of games.
I enjoy any type of TEXT game there great fun expessially if you get into them and relAX :)
Here is mine, i stopped working on it a while ago. It is full of bugs. Like if you try to load a game without having saved a game first it will just freeze. There is only three levels right now and two total areas. No weapons, no spells, no armor etc. Just stats that influence how much dmg you do and take based on enemy defense or your defense. I don't think I'm going to work on making it better. The code is just one huge sourcefile and I would have to pretty much recode the whole thing to make it more managable.
Yeah, on v1.0 the game was kind of easy, and my one friend made fun of me because of how easy it was. So in v1.1 I decided to make the game a lot harder. Consequently I made the game too hard, and it's near impossible to beat if you don't play it on the easiest levels. As for the overall fun for the game, it's boring right now, but in my next version, I hope to change that and make it a little bit more exciting and diverse.Quote:

Try adding some traps. And different textures. I see that every square is the same thing.That gets boring. Some good music. I am really making mod music, so you can use fmod to play some music that i make. :D
