Thread: Allegro/Games

I have a few Allegro/Gaming questions. First of all, I'm still (sigh) trying to grasp something. What EXACTLY is allegro in lamens terms. That and in DJGPP, how do i make allegro work? I'm including the the build file that came along with allegro. I need help (in lamens terms) again in that area

allegro is a library. It is basically a set of functions that make creating games easier. It simplifys everything for you, from graphics to timers in the game. i recomend you use dev-c++ with allegro, i saw a tut on how to set it up on the allegro webstie and got it working with that.
