New Graphic Game > Need Your Approval

I have attached the game I am making, could you please tell me if it is worth finishing or you think it will be a waste of time? thanks.

P.S. On the main menu use spacebar instead of enter.

I didn't look at the game, but I would say that as long as you are learning things, the game is worth continuing, even if it is a dumb game

as i said its not really finished, jsut the layout. right now i just want to know if i ontinued working on it if it would be a good game. it has colors, 2d graphics, etc, etc. Right now the only menu option that works is "Start a New Game" and in the game the blue is water and the green is grass(that will all be included in the "help" option on the main menu when the game is complete)

    A good game is a well-designed game.

If you want it to be a good game, then work on the design.

Note that by design I don't mean graphics.

I'd say continue the game, or even better finish it.

wow, this is an active thread tonight...but anyway, keep trying because a large part of programming is about learning and you won't learn anything if you give up, other than how to be a quitter, and that's not a very useful skill when dealing with computers (:

start with a plot...and some game objectives...then a map...maybe some items, and some enemies...then go from there and see what you come up with...

heh nice game but are there suppose to be black lines appearing randomly?
also you might wanna make it so that the whole map is not reprinted with every move, only the new block and old block are printed its much smoother.
in the menu try to make it so that you can press enter to start game too instead of pressing space.

finally you might wanna check out my game (dungeons of moria, link in my sig) ,

    hope the info helped
