I know three people(12,13,14)at the young age that are at a professional level(i'm serious!)
They are VERY fat and have severe acne over their mouths. They are pale white, and they can barely talk because they have no social life. They spend the entire day(not 5 hours, more like 15) on the computer playing games and coding. Their grades suck, too!

I guess I am weird. I usually get 100s in math since I was in 2nd grade. I learned Pre-Algrebra in 4th grade, and then went on to Algebra I in 5th grade. I took Algebra II in 6th grade, and in 7th grade, so far, I took the rest of Algebra II, 9th grade arithmetic, and started Geometry. I didn't learn it in school, because all they were teaching was arithmetic until you get into 6th grade. I am just now able to take Pre-Algebra in school! Teachers wonder why I always make close too 100s in math. I could skip a grade probably, if I was in a good school. Our school I am in is so lazy. They teach the same things year after year. I learned about prepositions in English like in 2nd grade, and it's still in our supposed to be "Advanced" English, Course II!

I think it's sad when you know too much.

Lol, im in 7th grade and we're still learning prepositions..... Our school doesn't even teach Programming! Oh well, if they did, i would be so far ahead of them by then, that it would be useless almost. Our school bout same as yours.

    Just a question

Can you explain what's studied in AlgebraI/II/Whatever??
We study algebra, but we have it classified in a different way. So I'd like to know what those grades mean so that I can compare.

    my school goes like this:

    8th - prealgebra
    9th - algebra
    10th - geomentry
    11th - alg II/trig
12th - precalc of some sort.

It isn't the full-blown algebra II, it's sorta a pre-algebra II. It has all the stuff in the regular algebra II, but just not any of the more advanced stuff (if there was anything in it that wan't advanced )

That is why it was before geometry. Sorry for the mix-up.

Our school's Pre-Algebra is basically just equation, geometry, and arithmetic in one

The algebra I was like a bunch of advanced functions, lots of equations, a tiny bit of geometry (like 2 lessons), linear and bi-linear stuff, etc.

My Algebra II (which is not really Algebra II, as said above), is basically halfway between Algebra I & II.

Geometry is basically, geometric math. Shapes, planes, all the good stuff. Geometry is actually fun to me. I don't know why, but I actually have fun doing geometry!

    sorry to double post

no, programming was not forced upon. I started doing batch files after I read a book, when I was like 5, and I wanted to do more. So I started doing stuff in BASIC. Nothing even halfway decent, just on an Apple II/e. After that an adult saw what I was doing, and when I was like 8 I started Delphi. When I got to 12 I started C++. I never did program much in Delphi, if you asked me a question about it, I probably couldn't answer it.

Oh, and BTW: It is Nebulasoft, not newbiesoft.

Also, these were definitely not available in school. I am way ahead of everyone else.

i learned delphi as a second language, then c++, it's pretty cool.

You people underestimate children way too much. They're quite brilliant.
