I just downloaded an Adventure Game parser named AGS. But i need a program to make Bitmaps ala old Lucasarts. Just need 320x200 and 256 colors.

Original bitmaps? MS Paint.
Or are you talking about a tile ripper?
I need an editor, MS paint is too hard to use, i need something with more options.
Try Paint Shop Pro. I think you can get version 7.0 for about $110 now. Version 5.0 is the only one I've tried (and it's great) so you should be able to get it much cheaper.

I can't believe people actually buy stuff like Visual Studio, Photoshop, Maya, etc. When it's right there, waiting for you on the internet! Programs, Cracks and all!
If you wish, you can write your own editor for the particular effects you need, and anyone here experienced the field of effects [::cough:: me...] would be glad to help you out, particularly if you need specialized effects which you might not find anywhere else. Oh, and Xterria and Pode, please don't take this off topic or you will be moderated.
