Format of the FAQ Board

The format of the FAQ board is designed to enable people to easily search for items that they are looking for. For this reason FAQ is in the front of every thread title so one can use the search function to easily find things.

At the end of each thread in parentheses is the board that the question was originally asked on. Many answers work for different versions of C, c++, etc and for different platforms, Windows, Dos, Linux, etc. However, the answers are obviously written for the board that they were written on.
