Hi

I am trying to develop a File Sharing System using Peer-to-Peer technology, actually I have built the core of the program. The problem is that my instructor don't want a traditional file sharing sys, he asked me to find a new idea in the same domain ( peer-to-peer ), idea never been developed. He said there are 50th p2p in the market I don't want to build the 51. So guys if you have any suggestions about that, please tell me. I have suggested my instructor to improve and increase the features of the program like
The ability to make groups, sending instance messages between peers, send e-mails, browsing the internet from the program. Sending voices, streaming…ect.

Please suggest any ideas you think they are good, even if their implementation is complex.

why make a program that is jack of all trades and master of none? Why include IM,Email,etc. when there are already hundreds of programs that do that and do it better than you could(in a reasonable time, as after all, alot of these messengers have been in development for years)I would suggest that you aim for increasing performance and power of the actual p2p service.

but note that the features i mentioned is between peers, messenger for example is not p2p based, what I meant is try to collect none p2p features and make them available in p2p app. Right there a lot of what I mentioned are available in p2p, but my aim is to add a lot of features as I possible on one app.

It is just a suggestion no more no less .
