C# is completely different from C and C++. C# is one of a number of languages which are tied into the .net framework. Which one you want to use, is entirely dependant on what type of applications you are likely to make. There advantages in learning all three.
As he said, that depends. But I would recommend to start with C, then move to C++ and finally C#.
Take a look at these sites:

You can easily find out even more discussions (google) since this question is pretty popular.
gavra.
C and C++ are closely related. properly written C will compile under C++.
C# has nothing to do with the other two, C# is more like java and VB had a love child after meeting at a thalidomide clinic trial, dropping acid near the nuclear plant, and then later discovering they were long lost brother and sister.

u people up there if I
starting programing by ,my self for my self what is the best course of action
ty all
best course of action if i start programing 4 my self by my self
where do I start...
i would say java or c# are easiest , but you can find more help online for java.
once you learn the concepts of programming very well, it is considerably easier to pick up another language.
I always think that the more help you have starting out when you have problems the easier it is, i find that at these forums any question you have on c++ will be answered...so considering to start with c++ isn't out of the question since there are lots of resources out there.
