Requested registry access is not allowed
I can't start a new project with Microsoft C# Express Edition. It always gives me an error 'Requested Registry access is not allowed.' whenever I click File>New Project>Windows Game(3.0). I'm trying to create an XNA 3.0 project.
I am using the Windows 7 RC. Any help would be appreciated.
I guess you will need admin privileges when running Visual Studio. Considering what you can do with that tool, admin privileges seem appropriate. Right click on your taskbar icon of Visual Studio. Then right click on the link to Visual Studio and select "Properties". There should be a tab page called "Compatibility", check the last box that says "Run with admin privileges". I'm running a German version of Windows 7, the translation for your system may vary.
