    WCF basic samples

    Hello everyone,

I am new to WCF and I want to learn,

    - Basic samples for WCF and I want to deploy a WCF service which serves remote client request;

    - How to use PrincipalPermission to control which user role could have permission execute which method.

Any samples to recommend (especially for the 2nd item)?

    thanks in advance,
    George

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.

Dude, don't waste the pixels or bandwidth, he's doing quite enough of that himself. He should just be on everyone's ignore list.

Y'know what, I could go on, but you get the message.

Methinks create accounts all over the place and cross-link the whole sorry mess every time he posts.
I'd like to see where he ever ANSWERED a question, ever!

C'mon george, when the hell are you going to start giving back, and stop being the world's biggest sponge.

Wow looks like he has a huge list of sites that he can sponge off of. From now on no answers till I see either code or the OP helping someone else out.

George2 you have managed to garner the attention of all the moderators here. And it is not the 'good' type of attention. This is not just an answer board and we somewhat expect as new people gain knowledge that they in turn begin to help others. You haven't helped anyone and you obviously cannot read books or the internet because most of your questions are very simple and take about a couple of minutes to google.

The fact that you are spamming other boards with your laziness is really irritating.

Think of this board like a bank account. You can withdraw to a point and then you need to deposit something. As of right now your account is seriously overdrawn.

In a reply to a PM from long ago, he said he wanted to learn as much as possible.

But in the same way that memorising 1000's of digits of PI doesn't make you a mathematician, claiming to know 1000's of facts about programming isn't going to make you a programmer.

1000's of lego bricks, and all he can do is admire the colours.

A dictionary may contain all the words of a novel, but that doesn't make it a good read.

If ever there was an example of "give a man a fish vs. teach a man to fish", then this is a prima facie example of why we shouldn't just keep giving away fish, because he simply isn't learning anything substantive.
