I have read that the project I am working on should be saved first before I compile it just in case the "system crashes" during compilation. What does that mean? Is it a "PC crash" as a whole or just the program?
Just a concern...
Thanks..

Well, you need to save the file(s) you are working on anyways, as the compiler can't "see" the files when they are in your editor.
As to "system crash", that would be a "blue-screen" in Windows, and it is very unlikely that you cause that during your compile - maybe in the old days that would happen because compilation could cause out of memory which can sometimes lead to unexpected effects. But it's really not common.

System can refer to pretty much anything.
But I would love to see the build process that warranted such a warning.
Nah, love. Then I'd submit it to http://worsethanfailure.com/
