    Arguments

I can't seem to find this anywhere else so....

What exactly is the definition of an "argument"?

There are several types of arguments.

    For functions: http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial/lesson4.html
    Command-line arguments: http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial/lesson14.html

The term parameter is almost, but not quite, the same as argument. Many people, however, use them interchangeably.
