    Can I use Borland C++ Builder 6 for general C++ programming?

    No, you can only use it for Borland C++ Builder 6 C++ programming.
    My best code is written with the delete key.

    C++ is a very low ranking language, it only recognises the 'private' rank keyword.
    You need something else for the much higher level 'general' programming
