Seemed pretty self explanatory to me.

What are you looking for?
I have a make reference that I Xeroxed from an old Microsoft C book (pre-dates Visual C++). I've always assumed that every compiler had a different version of make, so I don't know how closely it follows Unix.
I also have some actual makefiles (i.e. MyProgram.mak).
