I am in my last semester of school, and I registered for a c++ class thinking I would be able to do it b/c I took C++ a couple of years ago. Your aim should be to understand the course rather than going for a specific grade - Once you can say that you understand all (or most of) the material, the grade will come naturally (you might even end up with an A+) . If I were you, I would talk to the lecturer for the course. Depending how far behind you are, you will probably be able to revise the basics by putting in a bit of extra study time (Maybe going over any notes you might have from before).
I'm sure plenty of people will be happy to help you if you run into specific problems with assignments or programs you've made. check the FAQ link on the forum about asking homework questions - most are willing to help beginners understand the language, but they'll stop at "spoon feeding" (since that sort of practise really doesn't benefit learning anyway). Also, consider trying some beginner tutorials, or even buying a programming-by-example beginner's book. (Again, check the Announcements and "Sticky" threads at the top of the board).
Good luck! and remember that the fastest way to learn the language is to get your hands dirty by trying out the examples and questions for yourself.

Anyway i don't have anything against cheaters, it's just that i'm not a good person like you Bench82. I wanna help this guy just for fun, i know that my help to him wouldn't be helpfull, but it seems fun so i'm doing it.
But since you are a good person, you are trying to really help him, but that's boring.
So in a way i'm evil 'cause i'm thinking only about my level of fun, and not about how will this guy turn up in future. But it seems this guy will turn up just fine...

Every assignment is different, you should start each assignment with what you know or what is easy to do. For example if an assignment ask you to create a function, then you need to understand what a function is and how can you create such a function. this board has a lot of tutorials and a lot of people will help you whenever you are stuck with something.
