    Question better to work with

    I have both Borland 5.5 and visual c++ express and just been wondering wich is better to use?

    i am new at c++ so i dont really know, but sinse alot of ppl mention visual c++ i went and got it

    shouldn't make much difference for learning the language. After that, once you dive into specific libraries, there are differences (the Borland compiler doesn't have MFC or .NET support for example because it doesn't ship with the required libraries and header files, their commercial offerings do).

    Personally I'm a Borland person, been using their products almost exclusively for almost 20 years now.
