hello, I am a beginning programmer, and to motivate me, a friend of me has given me the task to make a screensaver in cpp that shows custom title's from the website www.digg.com , but I don't know how to get something from a site into a program.
where can I find info on how I have tho do this?
How about starting with the usual beginners stuff rather than jumping in at the deep end?
I've got some programming experiance (not so much C++), and I think not this is realy a "deep end", but I cant find anywhere how to begin at it, and that friend that gave me the task, won't help

I've found how to read from the html file, and how to change the directory, but it works only if I first download the site to a folder on my computer, can anyone tel me how to change directory to an website that isn't saved on my pc?
