    dos images

    how can i make pictures in dos? (example, lemmings.)

    as in display an image of lemmings in dos?
    what format?
    jpeg?
    nope, not unless you write a full graphics interface for it.
    ( graphics server and widget set, libs for reading image file )

    acsii art, yup.

    use the keyboard characters to create such an image.

    Dos is Dead.

    As for creating your image :
    ( you must have somekind accsess to screen pixels )
    Write a text file of an image, each three numbers should represent a pixel (r,g,b)
    and in the end, a 32x32 image would be about 0.5MB
