    cont' undeclared

    Hi,

    I'm using Dev C++. I'm also new to programming and I was going through the tutorials and I'm having a problem compiling this code:

    Code:
    #include <iostream>

    using namespace std;

    int main()
    {
        cont<<"Hey, you, I'm alive! Oh, and Hello World!\n;
        cin.get();
    }
    I get this message: `cont' undeclared (first use this function)
    What should I do

    Thanks in advance

    Try spelling it 'cout'
    If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
    If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
    I support http://www.ukip.org/ as the first necessary step to a free Europe.

    and just to clear it up why its cout and cin:
    cout = c out; because it outputs to the screen
    cin = c in; because it takes input from the user
