    Cool a quick question....

    if i had two arrays of
    #1) 1 4 9 16 9 7 4 9 11
    #2) 11 11 7 9 16 4 1

    how would i check to see if they have the same elements, ignoring multiplicities? in the example i was given the above elements would be considered the same. would i use some kind of temporary variable or what? man im confused!
    thank you

    Code:
    void compare(){
        int shorter[SIZE] = {'11', '11', '7', '9', '16', '4', '1'};
        int longer[] = {'1' '4' '9' '16' '9' '7' '4' '9' '11'};
        int flag, i = 0; /*flag is either 1 or 0/true or false*/

        while(i < SIZE){
            if(shorter[i] == longer[i]) /*Equal?*/
                flag = TRUE; /*yes, keep looping*/
            else{
                flag = FALSE; break;  /*no, bail*/
            }
        }
        if(flag == TRUE) cout<<"The arrays contain the same elements";
        else cout<<"The arrays do not contain the same elements";
    }
