    Here is the string from my Target box:

    "C:\Program Files\C++Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\MSDev98\Bin\MSDEV.EXE"/y3

    And, when I click on Apply, I get:

    The name: "C:\Program Files\C++Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\MSDev98\Bin\MSDEV.EXE"/y3
    specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are valid.

    Well, now that I look at your string again, I see you have a space between the file name and the /y3. That worked for me.

    VC6 is from 1998. I'm sure it ran just as slow if not slower on the average computer then as VC7 does on one now....
