    include <graphics.h>

uh yeah, well whenever I try to use this I get:

"unknown file or directory 'include <graphics.h>' "

what is wrong with this? Is it even a LIB ( or whatever they are called, I am a n00b )

and if it doesn't exist, what is the graphics LIB/whatever they are called.

I got this from the TC source under the source code link of the site.

    I think graphics.h is a DOS lib..ie you need a DOS compiler.

If graphics.h is a DOS LIB is there a similar one for Windows/other compilers? And what is it?

windows.h is the Win32 API, and GTK is the graphics library most commonly used for Windows APPS. You can also get other graphics API like SDL, OpenGL, etc...

graph.h is also not a standard library. Borland tends to user lots of non-standard stuff, so I'd be wary of relying on it too much as you're learning. Dev-C++ is another choice you might consider.

I am using Dev C++ so how would I call the LIB, or do I need to download a file first? If so where can I get it?

Well it's not standard, so you'd have to contact Borland and find out. There are probably like a million graphics.h's out there.

the point is it's a library you don't have and you'd need to find and retrieve it to be able to compile the program correctly. either that or find another library that can replace the one you're using. the best way for that is a google search.

You're using Borland's source code, so you need their library.
