    Task bar icon

    I have written my program but its a DOS type interface (I guess thats what you would call it), anyway, I would like it so that when the .exe starts it becomes an icon in the task bar. Is this possible??
    I don't know how to make any other intreface besides a DOS type, so I am very unfamiliar with this.
    If someone could explain the code needed to make this effect, or where I can read a tutorial on this, that would be very helpful.

    Sounds like an OS-specific question. If you're in Windows, you might want to make your program a WIN32 and then summon your console. God knows I don't remember that deal, though.
